VBS Dates and Theme

Vacation Bible School for children will be June 19 – 23, 2023. Our church volunteers will be using guides published by Answers in Genesis. The theme is “Keepers of the Kingdom – The Armor of God. As we get closer to the date, we will announce how to register children for VBS. Here is an excerpt about the event:

“Preparing Children to Survive in Today’s World…

We are engaged in an epic battle for the hearts and minds of our youth. Every day, they’re bombarded with lies about who they are, who their Creator is, and where their salvation comes from. Thankfully, God has given his children armor to wear in this battle between truth and lies, light and darkness, good and evil.

With this VBS, your kids will learn how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son and will be equipped with the armor of God to become Keepers of the Kingdom and stand strong in today’s battle for truth.”

Youth Bible Camps

Registration is still open for Lake Blaine Baptist Bible Camp for this summer. Dates are available for 4th – 12th grade children.

  • July 11-15 for boys entering 4, 5, 6, or 7th grades ($90 cost)
  • July 18-23 for boys and girls entering 7, 8, or 9th grades ($100 cost)
  • July 25-30 for boys and girls entering 9, 10, 11, or 12th grades ($100 cost)
  • August 1-5 for girls entering 4, 5, 6, or 7th grades ($90 cost)

Vacation Bible School

VBS will be Monday, June 20—Friday, June, 24th 9 am to 12:30 each day. However, if you have not preregistered your child/children, please come a bit earlier on Monday for registration. Children in Kindergarten thru 6th grade are welcome. Parents have to sign children in and out. Snacks provided. Games, crafts, and biblical lessons on the sanctity of life. It’s free of charge. At Zoomerang VBS, children will marvel at the unforgettable wildlife, culture, and beauty of Australia while exploring the wonder and value of life, from the lives of preborn babies to eternal life in the kingdom of God. During this pro-life VBS, kids will discover that life is valuable. From the tiniest to the oldest, each person is made in the image of God—wonderfully designed to know him and live for him!

Welcome. This is our first post to our new website. Stay tuned for more messages. We hope to see you tomorrow. Our adult Sunday School is currently focused on studying the life of Joseph. Our children’s Sunday School (nursery and older) are covering Elisha, Daniel, and Esther. Pastor Jake is covering Our Lord’s parables and their practical application to our lives today.
